I want to be an art teacher of some sort. (theater, creative writing, general arts, photography)

I’m a senior in high school, and I’ve heard that teachers are highly in demand in some places and that if you say you’ll teach in that area for a certain amount of time or whatever, they’ll help pay for your schooling.

Could anyone give me some extra insight on this? Thanks.
