tutoring
charlottechick asked:

I am currently starting my own tutoring/test preparation company. Does anyone have any suggestions about how I should get started and also about advertising. I am a current teacher, but I **** my it and I plan to quit my job and pursue my dream of being my own boss and owning my own company. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Try getting started by approaching one or two local private schools. An advert in the local Paper might help. Advertise in the yellow pages or a small add in your local shops might be useful. An add in the TES perhaps . Good luck with your new venture

One way to get your name out there is with a web page.

My company is offering a free web page to start-up companies like yours.

There is a cost for a full web-site, but for one page the cost is nothing. This can help if you would like to keep start-up costs to a minimum.

Search Engine Optimization techniques are used so that potential customers can find your service or product when searching on the internet.

Go to my comanies site or my companies group to find out more:

I started my own business about 2 months ago. Hit me up at. I’ll give you some of my sample flyers, forms and what not. Im tired of people saying that it is difficult to start a new business. It really wasnt. I had 4 clients my first week. Its just persistence. You’ll be fine. Dont let anyone tell you that you have to do this do that. You already have credibilty which is always nice. Also, you just have to be good with people. Write me an email for some samples (you can use them if you’d like, but just change the info.)
