Call your local community college and see what they charge. You can also find this in the ads of a local newspaper (most of the time). It’s really hard to tell you on a forum like this because I do not know what other people in the area are charging. I would suggest maybe $10 an hour, but you do not want ot make your prices WAY over OR under what others in your area are charging.

It depends on your reasons for tutoring. If you’re doing it for charitable reasons than a lower price might be good. However, I think an average rate is about 10 dollars an hour.

If you are a certified teacher you should charge a minimum of $20 to $30 hour. People pay $50 an hour or more for plumbers, electricicans, etc. So do not sell yourself short.

It depends on the community you are in. I would think between $20 and $40

for elementary school kids, i would say $15 to $20, unless you have a lot of experience which i dont think u do. You could also ask the parents how much they feel the appropriate amount would be.

It depends on where you live. I’m in a very affluent area, and the local tutoring agencies charge over a hundred dollars an hour. I charge $60 and could easily charge more. I know there are places where this would not be acceptable. Do some research about your area and make your determination on that.
