I’m auditioning with a tutoring company to be a tutor/teacher for standardized tests and/or various high school subjects. I have to give a 5 minute ‘lesson’ on some non-academic topic. Good use of whiteboard is key as is interacting with the audience and involving them. I need some good ideas of interesting topics to consider. Their examples included “How to Parachute safely from a plane” and “How to find an apartment.” Please help me come up with something as I’m drawing a blank.
