I would look at this. Most everything i found for a teachers assistant required an associates degree. Candidate must have an associate degree in early childhood or hold a current CDA (Child Development Associate credential) or equivalent (12 college credits in early childhood education) or present evidence of currently pursuing a CDA or degree and verify one year of experience in a preschool classroom.
