Imagine if this happened in front of a group of kids. You and your friends are sitting at a lunch table and all of a sudden this kid starts crying right next to you. Every time you see him from then on do you think of him just as the “crying kid” or do you move on?
Also, this varies from person to person so you can’t answer this question generally.
As for me being a teacher,I think they are stressed up,having financial difficulties,boy-girl relationship and etc.
*Please note that I am teaching the graduating class in a high school where a lot of students faces this kind of problems*
yeah they do they treat you differently but if ur in a private school well u will be perceived as weak
i think it depends on what your crying for. If you cry all the time for nothing then yeah they’ll remember you as the cry baby, but if its for something serious im sure they sympathize and don’t mind it. But they are suppose to be professionals so they cant exactly show you too much sympathy/empathy then they might feel.
Everybody cries at some point, even teachers…its because we all have emotions. I think it would depend what the situation was. If you were under stress about something and the teachers knew about it then i’m sure they would have understanding and not think any less of you. If you were becoming upset over nothing they would maybe think you were a bit of a cry baby but they are professionals and should move on. After all, high school kids are exactly that….high school kids- who are learning to deal with emotions. Teachers should be there to help you. Hope all is ok.
All the things that we do in our life make up the type of person we are - that goes for teachers, politicians, doctors, anyone.
My gut reaction would be “You must be under a terrible amount of stress, or something really bad happened to you”.
****in a very caring way***I would remember you as someone that had an obstacle to overcome and I would continue to look to see if you showed signs that you were still under this stress.
If i knew that you were ok after, I’d be relieved and would be proud you overcame it (like in a cinderella story sort of way).
If I saw signs that you were still under stress, I’d want to help you.
