K-12, most of the teachers I had, had personality, with the exception of some teachers. And I know quite a few college teachers and professors, and they have personality. But the teachers, at least most of them have little to no personality.
Are most tech schools like this? And is there a logical explaination?

Techies and engineers are not often known for their shining personalities. They are often intellegent, yet socially isolated individuals. They do have personality though….

Yes! Remember that teaching is a job. Generally Tech Schools do not have the brightest minds in the universe there. They are just beaten down over time, trying to teach the same basics, semester after semester. It is easy to lose your zip. Remember, a history teacher may teach seniors and honors students for several years, then change it up and teach 7th and 8th grade geography for a few years. Where as an auto repair guy, always teaches auto repair. 20 – 30 years of auto repair to the same knuckleheads, well, it’s easy to figure out. They lost their personality years ago.

They probably have no personality because other people in the class may follow there teacher! If they follow their teacher then they don’t have their own presonality witvh sometimes is ok and usally bad. That could be why because my teacher LOVES Charlie Brown and now a ton of kids in my class like Charlie Brown. That may not be the answer. If it isn’t then maybe there is something wrong with your teacher(s). LOL
